chinese new year clothes at bugis...

on wed, 27 jan, went out with angie to bugis to see if she can get any chinese new year clothes. and she lent me her black button up shirt. super thanks babe. needed that for the presentation on thursday. (: saw so many clothes at bugis! but in the end, she bought one. cause she had ~~some~~ alot of trouble fitting her...er...her...erm...decolletage. yea. kept laughing at her cause i could fit in some and she couldn't.
but then! karma strikes! went to a shop and the aunt said she couldn't fit into a dress she quite liked cause some...parts of the dress were rather smaller in size and the aunt looked at me and was like 'you can fit.' -.- thanks auntie, like i needed someone to tell me right in my face i'm not as asset-ed as angeline. -.- and then it was angeline's turn to laugh at me...especially when the auntie kept sayying itttttttttttt. like 6 times! i was like 'omg, stoooop already!' and angeline kept laughing, and i told angeline 'i wantED to buy the tights but not anymore!!!!!' and she still couldn't stop laughing. lmao, oh well. i've come to accept that fact!
so went to try out the new dress angeline bought at illuma and it looks great on her! only thing it's all black. but she said she's gonna put a belt on and her parents have no problems of her wearing black. angeline's bf ronald was waiting for her outside bugis, so we went to meet him. at first, i was kinda...awkward around him cause i'm really awkward when it comes to new people. so angeline was like 'omg, don't be so shy!' and after a while, cause ronald was friendly and angeline's such an awesome bestie, i became more comfortable. (: so went to eat yoshinoya for dinner at like 10. then went home. (: fun, crazy, awesome day. (: gonna hang out with angie darling after exams as well. (:

went out with rach on sat, 23rd jan. (: uber fun. went to watch avatar in 3d. i loveeee that movie. though i've watched non-3d with darling angeline and 3d with rachel, it's not enough! that movie is loveeee. bro's gonna get the dvd for me. (: he's the best. (:! so met her at 4. was late cause i didn't include bus waiting time. xD and i took 105 but thought it was 106 (don't ask how i mix them up) but i overshot my busstop and took it to far east. -.- had to walk allll the way back cause rach was waiting for me in taka. she wanted to get something from sephora. some...pocket spray. omg, we had so much fun smelling the different smells. lmaooo! there was a mint spray and rachel was like 'it smells fresh! i kinda like it' and i was like 'what??? it smells like mentos, why on earth would anyone wanna smell like mentos???' and she started laughing and i liked the smell of a chocolate spray and she's like 'why do you wanna smell like willy wonka?' in which i replied 'coming from someone who wanna smell like the freshmaker. -.-' lmaoo, seriously, choosing sprays has never been this fun. lmao. kept laughing cause we like different smells. but we both like a deep pink colour spray which smells pretty sweet. *i love sweet smells. (:* and she bought it, i didn't cause i don't usually spray much. and cause i was a liiiil short of moolah that day. xD (though it costs like 10 bucks only, but i was in no need of it). after that, went to book tickets for avatar and we had to choose 6pm or 9.30pm. it was 5, so i said 9.30! and rach was like -.- cause that would mean we would have to cab home. so i was like okies, 6pm then. but then we had to rush rush rush for the tickets. when we reached cine, avatar for 6pm was already flashing 'selling fast' and the line at first level seemed really long so we went up to 4th level. pretty long too but we still queued but lucky the counter lady was fast. and rach kept saying 'once we reach the counter, it's gonna flash from 'selling fast' to 'sold out'. omggg pessimistic!!!! but lucky it didn't. the 6pm show had only front 2 rows of seats left. and we checked 9.30pm, and it had almost the same. so i was like, might as well take the 6pm right?' and yep! we got the 2nd row seats, near the middle for avatar 6pm. and yea, avatar's my first 3d movie. loser right? oh well. but since we had like 40 mins left. we went to walk around cine, trying to maybe find some clothes for rachel for cny. but oh well, when has cine has any nice clothes. so ended up not buying anything. though i did buy a head band to match my cny dress. so we went to queue for food for the movie and went to watch it.
i though....it was gonna be like, epic. cause everyone's talking about how awesome to see it in 3d. i mean, people got depressed watching the 3d. so i was like 'it's definitely some good shit'. but...it wasn't, i think those people that got depressed watched imax 3d which i heard is wayyyyy much better. like you literally went plopped into pandora. it was pretty..normal i think. i mean, it was actually really similar to the non-3d only that i saw ashes flying to my face. so...yea. or maybe it's epic if you watch your first time in 3d. idk. but i still enjoyed the show immensely. before the show, i told rachel that the show would last about 3hours, so had to go to the bathroom first. cause i missed my first 5 mins of the show due to the need to go to the bathroom. but at about 19.xx, rach needed to go to the toilet again. and she's like, how long more till show ends? i needa use the bathroom. and i was like 'what??? you better go now, it ends at 21.xx.' and she's like holy shit and ran off. xD during the movie, she kept telling me twilight was better. and i thought she was insane during the movie. but after it, she's like the movie is sooo damn good. and i asked, what about twilight? and her defence was 'in the movie, twilight good guys always win the bad guys and good guys survive.' -.- nice defence rach. i mean seriously?? but yep, she agreed that the movie was kickass and the show draws you in like totally, cause if you miss a part of it, you kinda get lost for a while. but damn, that is why that show is so kickass.
after the show, we went to 313 to walk a lil before heading home. and rach said something crazy (i forgot what) but when i looked at her like 'what the...', she looked at me innocently and was like 'avatar! it got me like that' omg, i almost died laughing. and whenever each of us said something stupid, we'd blame the movie. it's so damn fun. she called me a 'scorn' and i was like what? and she's like you know...the na'vi word for moron and i was like OH you mean 'skxwang (pronounced 'ska-wn') and she was like damn it. lmao! fun times!!! and when we got something to drink, i told her i wanted to stay a lil longer, and she's like that we have to take cab and pay midnight charge -.-. and i was like, didn't you see avatar? those people walked man. imagine walking from here back home?!? and she's like nooo, they didn't only walk, they have that horse...and, and that flying thing! omg! hella crazy fun.
but before i left, she told me that we should meet after my exams ended, cause she didn't wanna be the cause of me doing badly. and i was ok. but she said she would still come meet me in sp, maybe for lunch someday. (: looking forward to that. on the bus, we gossiped alot (typical girls) and i said 'bye jc' when i left and she gave me that omg, i hate you look. lmao!
oh well, fun day all in all. (: hope to meet up soon!

projects, projects, projects...

omg, i really need to take a break. getting sick! ahh! maybe gotta follow zhane and take a whole toilet roll with me tomorrow, lmao...oh wait, i mean today. it's freaking 1.37am! and we're not asleep. we = me and zhane cause clari and hanting went to bed already. ): *jealous* but sunday night was awesome. we skyped to project. (:

and today...i mean yesterday, had to stay till 8.15pm in school! sad life! so many projects... ): it's upsetting.

but but! i bought two new dresses for chinese new year from f21! wee! went out with my cousin and aunt on sunday. went to 313@somerset. i thought the f21 is uber huge. but actually, it's quite small, just 4 stories high. but all in all, pretty good. wanna get a new purse there and maybe boots. idk. :D! just excited!

but i just thought of projects. and i'm all like ): right now.

oh well, zhane's still doing, i have to ganbatte too. :D

happy birthday clari...

clari! 19 now! feeling the old-ness don't you? xD ok, i shall stop teasing you. xD
well, today was clari's birthday! gave her a prezzie from the body shop. it's an aqua lily gift set, seems like she likes it. :D went to fish & co. glass house to eat lunch! clari and i ordered the best fish and chips set with iced tea and mushroom soup. :D and hanting and zhane ordered new york fish and chips with kola tonic and mushroom soup. :D all of us had ALOT of tartar sauce. lmao! yummy! :D then we ordered the strawberry daiquiri cake for clari. lolx. it was so crazy fun. cause we sabo-ed her. even though the glass house was empty (damn!) but she had to stand on a chair and hold a sparkler while the fish & co. people sang her a birthday song. xD! and zhane was super funny. he held the cake away from clari and told her to blow the candle. xD at first clari was like 'i can't do it'. then she was like 'ok, i used to be from band'. and she blew it and just one try and the candle went off. lmao. took group pic and went back to school for marketing research lecture. but it was mad fun. loves! and clari said we shall go to fish & co. glass house on a WEEKEND evening to celebrate zhane's birthday (the next birthday of our clique) and i fully support her! not gonna care if you're going to india for your ITP. muahaha! we will still do it! :D
crazy fun day all in all. and clari, i can't help this but 'enjoy your last teen year. o.o'

mad projects & my long-lost friend...

tried posting this from my phone, but i think my connection was lost.
anyways, went to holland V on sunday, met rachel! omg, i didn't see her for an entire year cause of her a levels. missed her like crazzzzy! met her at the cold storage there and gave her her christmas present (uber belated) and the coffee i got for her from vietnam.
and something uber funny happened! omg, she went to withdraw money cause she didn't have much cash on her. and we were chatting and all that and she accidently pressed that she wanted to withdraw $1000! omg, i almost died laughing when she was freaking out. she's like 'omg, i have never held so much money in my hands before!! omg omg omg, f my life!' and she almost turned around when she haven't placed her money stack in her wallet and i was like 'omg rach, don't turn around!' it was super hilarious. then had to go to near the bank to deposit the extra cash. omg, she's a total bimbo. xD
ahh, went to eat sushi tei, and chatted about what has been happening in our lives so far. talked about everything. she's changed quite alot since we last met. nothing good or bad. just that hm...how to put it...she is just more expressive, and has a more colourful and more diverse use of the english language...if you know what i mean. xD walked around holland V, nothing much to see. looked at some dresses and mostly just chatted, so much to catch up on! so little time. xD she's most probably gonna study overseas, maybe UCLA. *uber jealous* i wanna go too. but i have a totally different uni in mind. but i really want to study overseas to learn to be independent and all that. learn that she currently works at paragon, gonna see her some time. :D went to frolicks at about 5 and shared a cup of yoghurt and told her...a..ahem...shocking piece of news in which her reaction was 'omg! are you serious?' followed by 'do it again and i'll pierce your lungs, choose one side, right or left.' lmao, and yes rachel, i promise and solemly swear i won't do it again. xD
after that uber fun day but she had to go cause her dad was picking her up for dinner and my daddy cooked dinner. xD

and now!! for a projects rant, until yesterday, we had to complete 5 projects in two weeks! and we have a paper in 3 weeks! ahhhhhh, so much to do, so little time!!!! crazy much? had been meeting project peeps soooo much i'm going insane (ok jk, cause i just meet you guys one extra day) but that's not the point man....it's sooo damn stressful. been sick during weekends. actually i think my stress brought down my immune system, cause i've been sick quite often, like on and off. oh and during saturday, i went to my bro's open house booth. nice work bro! :D
oh and yesterday, chatted with pete again...this time i got totally emo and broke down while chatting. don't ask me why, i have no idea. ): but he's just really nice, making sure i was ok. (: thank you. (:
i knew it! omg, right now was supposed to be our 'leisure time' but we ended talking about our projects!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhh this is driving me i-n-s-a-n-e! yaye, time to leave for lecture = no more project talk!!!!
